LARRY DEAN RELEASES THIRD SINGLE TO TEXAS RADIO

From Bar Rooms, Broken Hearts and Beer Larry Dean took listeners to This Old Rock Now the singer/songwriter is preparing to be a Good Texan to Texas Music Chart’s loyal listeners.

Dean has taken the Stevie Ray Vaughn song Good Texan and made it his own. He’s given the tune an edgy guitar-driven sound with the feel of a summertime, roll your windows down, crank it up, put the pedal to the metal kind of feel.

Dean is already a familiar voice in his native Texas. Bar Rooms, Broken Hearts and Beer, a duet with Dale Watson, went to number 22 on the Texas Music Chart and This Old Rock climbed into the Top 20 to the number 16 position.

When I played the single I got the strongest response I have ever had for any of Larry’s songs, says Jim Patrick of KIKT in Greenville, TX. Kelly Zant of KBYG in Big Spring, TX, says, “We had several people call into request the song and ask who was singing it. When I told them it was Larry they were surprised but I got a positive response from all of them.”

Joshua Keith at KTKO in Beeville, TX said, "The song that's going strong in our "Lonestar Shootout" for the past week is "Good Texan" by Larry Dean. It has won the "Shootout" six straight nights" and is still going strong."

Larry has made quite an impression on the Texas music scene in just the short ten months since he has been releasing singles. With the early buzz on "Good Texan" he's looking to leave his biggest mark yet.

To quote Larry, "I'm really happy to have Texas radio and the great fans in Texas embrace me and my music so quickly." Dean is busy putting together a tour that will encompass many Texas markets sometime this summer.
